The Activate Programme (hereafter “Activate”) runs training schemes for Labour Party volunteers.

Hereafter “Students” are volunteers who attend our training programmes. “Sponsors” are individuals or individual representatives of organisations who pay to sponsor our students to attend training. “Trainers” are our staff paid to deliver training.

Activate collects personal data, including names and contact details, for the purpose of responding to enquiries from the public, registering our students, trainers and sponsors and sending invoices. All such data is collected with the explicit consent of users.

Activate collects bank account details for the purpose of paying our trainers and suppliers.

Activate collects data via online forms on our website www.labouractivate.org and also via direct correspondence by text message, telephone call and email.

Activate communicates via email, text message and telephone call for the purpose of coordinating the activities of the programme with our sponsors, students and trainers.

Personal data collected via our website is stored on the platform Wix.com - their privacy policy can be found at https://www.wix.com/about/privacy

Activate does not use cookies or tracking tools on our website.

Activate collects photographic and video images of our trainers and students at our events for the purposes of marketing. Trainers and students are informed in advance of this and have the option to opt out.

Activate does not provide any personal data collected from users with third parties.

Activate reserves the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If Activate makes material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
